Pay Your Bill

Electricity bills rendered by MEA are due on the due date. You may request a change of due date if the one currently assigned to you does not meet your needs. Call Customer service at one of the numbers listed below.

MEA offers several ways to pay your electric bill:

1.Pay Online
Go to MEA's Home Page and select the "E-Bill Online" link. This will take you to a secure web page where you can sign up to pay your bill online. You may pay online using Visa, MasterCard or check.

2. Pay In person
Stop by our cashier at any of three MEA District offices, open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday (except holidays):

3. MEA drop box
Drop off your payment at any of drop boxes located at MEA offices in Palmer, Wasilla, Eagle River and Big Lake or at any of the Mat Valley Federal Credit Union (MVFCU) co-op drop boxes located at: Palmer, Wasilla and Seward Meridian.

4. Pay by credit card
MEA accepts VISA and MasterCard. Call any MEA District office to pay your bill. You can also complete this form to pay your bill automatically every month.

5. Pay by electronic bank drafting
Call MEA to acquire an application. We take the payment out of your checking account three working days before your due date.

6. Budget Billing
You can "level-out" your electric bills, paying the same amount in December as you do in June, with Budget Billing.
