Thanks a Million – Operation RoundUp®:

Thanks to nearly the 40,000 MEA members participating in Operation RoundUp®, the MEA Charitable Foundation is able to give over $160,000 each year to organizations and individuals/families in need. Each participating MEA member gives $.11-$11.88 annually, with the average amount being $4.22. The video below highlights just one of the grant recipients through the years.

Budget Billing Sign Up Starts in April:

Level out your electric bills into 12 equal, monthly payments. Sign up for budget billing between April 1 and May 31.

When you sign up for the program, your budget billing amount will be estimated based on your previous annual usage. This number is then used to calculate 12 equal, monthly payments. MEA re-estimates this figure every June to help ensure accuracy and avoid substantial bills or credits.  Any credit or debit accrued during the year is automatically incorporated into your future bills.

More information on the program is available here.
