Q: What is Builders Fast Track?

Builders Fast Track is designed for MEA members who install three (3) or more new electric services each year and are familiar with the MEA new service construction processes. Builders Fast Track allows you to bypass the Construction Questionnaire and go directly to our application forms for various construction processes.

Q: What are the requirements to be a Builders Fast Track member?

To become a Builder Fast Track Member, members will need to meet the following requirements:

Submit a minimum of three (3) new construction services each year.
Builders Fast Track is for MEA’s Simple processes - Temp Simple, Perm Simple, Perm Simple (NSA Eligible), Temp to Perm Simple, and Temp to Perm Simple (NSA Eligible), as well as Temp to Perm Standard. If any of your projects fall under the Standard Process (excluding Temp to Perm Standard), you will need to apply through MEA's Online Construction Questionnaire.
Using Builders Fast Track, you will receive a project cost estimate in the Letter of Agreement (LOA) rather than the free cost estimate provided in the online construction questionnaire.
You will need to upload the required photos for your projects.
You will need to apply for each project separately.
Once you complete the Builders Fast Track Agreement, you will receive your Builder Fast Track login information. Your login information is confidential and may not be shared or used by anyone outside of your business or membership.

Q: Does it cost anything to be a Builders Fast Track member?

It does not cost anything to be a Builders Fast Track member. You must meet the program requirements and complete the Builders Fast Track Agreement to become a Builders Fast Track member.

Q: How do I apply to be a Builders Fast Track member?

Please click on the "Apply to Join Builders Fast Track" button above to fill out and complete the member agreement. Once your Builders Fast Track membership agreement is approved, you will receive your login and access information, and can start using the quick and easy new service application process created for Builders Fast Track members.

Q: I work for a construction company. Does each employee need to apply for Builders Fast Track?

No. Your Builders Fast Track membership applies to your business or builder organization. Once you complete the agreement, you will receive your login information. Your login information is confidential and may not be shared or used by anyone outside of your business or membership.
