MEA’s procurement process seeks competitive bids for a variety of goods and services, including but not limited to: poles, transformers, meters, cable, hardware, fleet vehicles, facility maintenance, professional services, courier services, mail handling and printing services. Open Requests for Proposal (RFPs) are listed below. MEA reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to contract in the best interest of the cooperative.

MEA is seeking contractors who wish to become pre-qualified and eligible to perform work on the Owner’s distribution, transmission, and substation facilities during 2026-2027. To become qualified, contractors must submit in advance the documentation outlined in the below Notice and Instructions, for MEA approval.
