There are two At-Large MEA Board seats up for election in April 2023. For candidate requirements and to download the candidate application, please click here. Candidate applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2022. Printed applications can be picked up at any MEA Office Location including Wasilla, Palmer, and Eagle River. Our electric co-op is led by our seven-member Board of Directors, including 4 District seats and 3 At-Large seats. Regular Board Meetings are scheduled for the second Monday of each month.

• Helps keep our co-op financially healthy and meeting members needs

Per MEA Board Resolution No. 2088 regarding staggered board seat terms to reduce significant yearly turnover, the At-Large Seat candidate with the most votes in this election will serve and 4-year term, and the candidate with the second amount of most votes will serve a 3-year term.
