Matanuska Electric Association (MEA) is inviting qualified nonprofit organizations to apply for a unique opportunity to lease and utilize a community facility located in the heart of downtown Eagle River.
For many years, the building served as the home of the Boys & Girls Club and provided valuable programs and services to local youth and families. As the property transitions to its next chapter, MEA is seeking a nonprofit partner that will continue to serve the Eagle River community and create a positive impact for local residents.
As a member-owned electric cooperative, MEA is committed to supporting the communities it serves. To help maximize the community benefit of the facility, MEA is offering the building at a significantly reduced lease rate. The selected tenant will have the opportunity to utilize the space for programs and services that strengthen the community, foster engagement, and improve quality of life for area residents.
The facility is located at:
11700 Old Glenn Highway
Eagle River, Alaska
